Again from my backlog: a picture of my friend Loes and her nomad-mobile. She’s lived in Mongolia for three months this summer, then tried a nomadic lifestyle for size in Amsterdam. She’s fascinated by the question what the absolute minimum of stuff is that people can get by with. Sure to be a whole lot less than most Dutch people have. It was fun to see how she inexorably accumulated more and more stuff, even when in nomad mood. She’s my houseguest as we speak, and trying to remove stuff from her normal-and-everyday life as well. Interesting to see where the need to travel light will bring her.
