Apart from mending a PC today I also worked on my ‘seven deadly sins’ series – been working on it for  years, off and on. Below the work as it evolved today – they change a lot so it is a snapshot in time. I work from things I find at thrift shops, in dustbins, or on the street – and when I find new things, I work them in. Scored a goodly collection of porcelain dolls at a thrift shop in Almkerk yesterday – I do go to Almkerk when given half a chance – it is lovely!

Anyway, making the ‘Envy’ one last year from a doll I dropped inspired me to do some more in the same style. I now have the series complete: Jealousy, Gluttony, Greed, Lust, Pride, Sloth and Wrath. I think that Gluttony, Sloth and Wrath need some more work done, the others may just stay as they are now. Or they may not, for serendipity happens.
