Discovered that the cyclamen that I planted last year – and forgot all about – have started flowering. Such tiny things they are, and so beautiful. Out even before the snowdrops, they were quite the surprise. To photograph them I had to go down and down and down …. not an easy thing to make a good composition while crouching. A good thing I do digital, I just shoot an overkill of images then select the few that I deem worthwile (see below). The jury is still out on the question of color or black-and-white.
