Got up this morning with the idea of developing a formula that I can apply to works of art so as to be able to score their ‘play’ content. A play index? A fun index? An engagement matrix? An interactivity icon? A Ludic List?

Would be fun to use Caillois’ system for starters, Sutton-Smith for the more psychological stuff, and a free radical for the ‘fun’ factor.  Will do!
