Weekend after next will see two of my pictures at a photo exhibition at  Hurns Kerkje, a charming village church in the town next to my own. A couple of weeks ago I met the people that are the keepers of this very pretty little church, and who organize all kinds of cultural events there. Great idea!  The show next weekend is about nature in the Bommelerwaard – which begs the question of there being nature at all, of course. There can’t be ‘natural nature’, for the area is  inbetween two major rivers that are tamed and combed and straightened. And so is the land inbetween. But the idea is charming nevertheless. So: go!
