Happened to be at the Groninger Museum and was entranced by ‘Waste not’ – a work by Song Dong and his mother. Circumstances made her into a compulsive hoarder, and her hoard is  so very attractively displayed ….. my aunty Everdien was the same, but her treasure never made it to a museum.

Walked through the city – not as brilliant as I remembered. The editing one does without being aware – quite something the workings of memory.
