Dutch Space is Different
A special moment in the life of my blog: my 1000th post! I’ve been blogging for over 5 years now. And if its true that a picture says more than a thousand words, my memory represents 1000 x 1000 = 1.000.000 words, and then some. Good for a little smile and a small trip down memory lane.
To mark the occasion I’m posting the drawings I made in South Africa for the ‘Dutch Space is Different’ project. Remember, I took Adriaan van Dis’s book ‘the promised land’ and made it my own, relating my experiences and my impressions through mining the book. Above the self portrait I made, below the picture gallery.
I do believe I have the beginnings of a good series – even though not all of the drawings are successful, or interesting – my goal is to have around 10 good’uns for every country we will visit. Quality of the pics below is substandard as I had to improvise a little – will make better pics once we’re home.
