I visited the garden of mrs An Fallinger, the keeper of the Snowdrops Collection for the Netherlands. She has 600 varietes, which I think quite a lot for such a simple flower. Loved the visit, but am glad my garden does not have quite so many labels I would not have the patience for a thing like that.

I know that people go nuts over snowdrops – saw a Gardeners World episode where the Galantophile Gardener Steve Owen shows his collection. He has over 1900 varieties of snowdrops, the most expensive ones going for 150 pounds … Over the top, really!
