Had a mail this week from Tony, a family member who lives far far away in New Zealand – the country where everything grows twice as fast as anywhere else. Which must be extremely nice for gardeners!

Tony has fond memories of our garden, and requested a few pictures for inspiration purposes. Very flattering & I sent him some. I myself came to the conclusion that I have visited and photographed a lot of gardens, but have very few good pictures of ours. So I went through my archive today – found that I have enough photos for a small series. Not so much garden photos per se, more of a series of tokens of how we live with it.

Have now commissioned myself to do a garden photo series of my own garden through the year, starting January next.
