Having squared, rounded,  compressed and folded the Netherlands, I then weighted it down using a growing circular weight that stretches and compresses. The fun thing about applying these algorithms to the shape of the Netherlands is that at the beginning I don’t know where the algorithm will take me. I just take step after step, small decision after small decision. This time, my small steps took me to the form of a globe. Happy accident!
