Went to Delft today to install ‘Waal van Woorden’ i.e. ‘River of Words‘ at Hoogheemraadschap van Delfland. These are the people that have kept the Delft area free of flooding and other water-related problems for over 735 years. They are celebrating this birthday with – amongst other things – an exhibition, of which ‘Waal’ is a part. We installed my work this morning, and I hope they will enjoy it!

The work is accessible to the public on the 1st, 3rd, 8th, and 10th of May at the Hoogheemraadschap’s main office, Phoenixstraat 32, Delft, between 8.00 and 17.00 hours. Alternatively, there are lectures, tours, and even games to be had, check these out here. Waal van Woorden will be part of these festive activities.
