Self-invented Game Room game
Game square
Had to choose one picture to represent my work with ‘play’ the other day. Chose this one, will try to give arguments why:
– it keeps coming back to me;
– it has the triple perception that I am experimenting with (perception, meta-perception, immersed perception;
– my visual language is usually very simple, almost arithmatic, even when I make cuddely things like in experiment no. 001. This one has that too (circles, squares, primary colours), but is a bit more complex;
– it shows the visual strength of the traditional game and also updates it;
– it tells a story;
– it acts as a kind of self-portrait.
Note: work on the quality of the uploads for this blog.
